1. Scope of these rules
These Rules & Conditions apply to website visitors and guests who submit a booking request, request an offer or stay at The Veil Rhodes.
A booking request sent through this website is not a confirmed reservation. A reservation is confirmed only after written confirmation by The Veil Rhodes and, where applicable, completion of the requested payment or deposit.
2. Statutory accommodation fees and taxes
Greek law may require the collection of accommodation-related fees from guests. The Climate Crisis Resilience Fee replaced the former Accommodation Tax and is imposed per daily use and per room or apartment, according to Article 30 of Law 5073/2023, as amended and applied by the competent tax authorities.
Where applicable, the fee is shown separately from the accommodation price, extras and transfer costs. The final amount may depend on the accommodation type, stay dates, current legislation and any official updates in force at the time of stay.
These statutory amounts are collected on behalf of the State and are not treated as accommodation revenue.
3. Offers, prices and payment
Prices shown on the website or in the booking estimate are indicative until availability and the final offer are confirmed in writing.
Discounts, extra guest charges, transfer costs and statutory fees may appear as separate lines so the guest can see exactly what is included.
Any payment method, deposit deadline, balance deadline or special condition will be stated in the written offer or confirmation.
4. Cancellation rules
Cancellation terms may vary depending on season, length of stay, offer type, discount, payment plan or direct agreement.
Unless a more specific written offer states otherwise, cancellations must be requested in writing by email. Any refund, retained deposit, cancellation fee, no-show charge or early-departure charge will follow the written confirmation terms.
Special offers, discounted stays, long stays or high-season stays may carry stricter cancellation rules. The final written confirmation prevails over the general information on this page.
5. Check-in, check-out and occupancy
Standard check-in is from 15:00 and standard check-out is until 11:00. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and prior written approval.
The property offers enclosed underground parking. Parking spaces are available only by prior arrangement and subject to availability; a parking space is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
The number of guests must not exceed the number declared in the booking request or confirmation. Additional guests require prior approval and may create extra charges.
Guests may be asked to provide information required for legal, tax, safety or operational purposes.
6. Quiet hours and respectful stay
Guests must respect the property, neighbours and common areas. Quiet hours in Greece are generally 15:00–17:30 and 23:00–07:00 during the summer period, and 15:30–17:30 and 22:00–07:30 during the winter period, unless updated by law or local authority.
During quiet hours, loud music, shouting, noisy gatherings, parties, disruptive balcony use and other disturbances are not allowed.
Complaints from neighbours, repeated disturbance or police/local authority intervention may lead to immediate action by the property.
7. Cleanliness, waste and use of the residence
The residence must be used with normal care and returned in reasonable condition.
Waste must be disposed of in the indicated bins and no food, oils, hygiene products or unsuitable objects should be thrown into sinks, toilets or drains.
Furniture, linens, towels, kitchen equipment and decorative items must remain inside the residence unless otherwise approved.
8. Elevators, stairs and common areas
Elevators, stairs, corridors and entrances must be used carefully and must not be blocked with luggage, rubbish, bicycles, scooters or personal items.
Children must be supervised in elevators, stairs, balconies and common areas.
Guests should avoid bringing sand, water or slippery materials into stairs, elevators and indoor common spaces.
9. Lights, air conditioning, water and keys
Guests are asked to turn off lights, air conditioning and appliances when leaving the residence, unless otherwise instructed.
Doors, windows and balcony doors should be secured when leaving the property.
Keys, cards, access codes or remote controls must not be shared with unauthorised persons. Loss or damage may be charged.
10. Damages, safety and prohibited behaviour
Guests are responsible for damage, loss or excessive cleaning caused by misuse, negligence or breach of these rules, beyond normal wear and tear.
Damage, faults, leaks, broken items or safety concerns must be reported immediately so they can be handled properly.
Smoking indoors, parties, illegal activity, unauthorised professional photo/video shoots, tampering with safety equipment and disturbing behaviour are prohibited. Pet policy, where applicable, must be confirmed in writing before arrival.
11. Updates and contact
These rules may be updated to reflect legal, operational or property requirements. The version available on the website and the written booking confirmation should be checked before arrival.
